War, the Sport of Kings, the bane of Democracies and Obama’s Dilemma in Syria
April 26, 2013 By Richard LandesThe New Yorker has a great cartoon that is at once funny, sad, true (especially to people like medievalists who study pre-modern cultures), and paralyzingly foolish. Read More »

Heaven On Earth

Holder is a complete embarrassment. He makes Alberto Gonzales look like Oliver Wendell Holmes. I hope Obama keeps him around to remind the American people what a bunch of clowns we have elected to run the Country.
Maybe he should try doing prayer breakfasts. Interfaith, of course. ;-)
I hope Obama keeps him around to remind the American people what a bunch of clowns we have elected to run the Country.
This is an affirmative action administration, including the president, and the results are EXACTLY what you can expect from such.
Walter,
I hope Obama keeps him around to remind the American people …
now they have another clown in the circus – John Brennan.
now they have another clown in the circus – John Brennan.
Hard to identify any admin official who is not a clown.
John Al Quds Brennan you mean.
Walter, incog, Cynic,
so the administration seems like a gang of fools. But maybe there is a method to their foolishness. The seemingly foolish things that the obamanoids often say and their foolish thinking and deeds may be part of a policy. There is a constant administration effort to toady to Muslims, to fawn over them and their “glorious” history and “splendid” civilization. So we get Obama putting Muslims before Jews in his inaugural speech, Obama bowing down to the saudi king, making his lying Cairo speech, persecuting Israel, humiliating Israel’s prime minister. Then Brennan called Jerusalem al-Quds [actually an arabized form of a Hebrew name for the city, haQodesh --but brennan doesn't know that]. This was no doubt a calculated way of introducing into public discourse the notion that Jerusalem the Holy City ירושלם עיר הקודש belongs to Arabs/Muslims. It was calculated like Jim Jones’ joke about a Jew selling a tie to the Taliban. Jones’ joke was meant to play on Western prejudices about Jewish merchants. In his joke, which did not have a Jewish character in its original form, Jones makes it seem that a cunning Jew is taking advantage of a poor Taliban feller.
They want to build a US-Arab-Muslim bloc which could do wonders to bring down civilization, already on the sick bed. Israel gets in the way of such a project and they didn’t like Jews anyhow. They also want to show the Arabs that they are willing to sell the Jews down the river in order to establish trust between Washington and Damascus & Mecca and all other enlightened centers of civilization in the region.
And the so-called “Left” are willing collaborators and spear-carriers in this project, whether they know what they are doing or not.
Remember what Huey Long said: When fascism comes to America, it will be called anti-fascism.
But maybe there is a method to their foolishness.
If you noted my reference to Krauthammer article, you should have seen that I do not deem a method and foolishness as mutually exclusive. There IS a method, but it is a method of fools.
Here’s the method and foolishness:
